The New Year
Unfortunately our conductor and friend Mr Ernie Ruddock has stepped down from the position. Ernie has helped the band over the last 4 years leading the band from strength to strength. We appreciate all his hard work and wish him and Meg all the best for the future.
Our friend and awesome Bb bass player Mr Gary Proctor has decided to take the band at least until Strabane. The band delighted Gary can take us and with his past reputation with conducting in this country we have no doubt he can improve the band.

The Band performed well at the Brass In Concert contest, in the Valley hotel in Fivemiletown on Saturday 2nd March, coming away with first prize, Most Entertaining Band, and Best March with our performance of one of William Rimmer's famous marches "Ravenswood".

This is the first contest with the bands new musical director, Mr Gary Proctor. The band would like to extend their gratitude to Gary for taking the band on and helping us achieve the result to represent the hard work which he put in.
